STEAM has 6 training levels for each of the tech roles. Certification means to achieve Level 5 or higher in relevant tech roles. The first thing every tech trainee and pastor must learn is our System described in this STEAM Training Hub.
To qualify to represent STEAM on solo paid tech gigs, Certification in certain roles is required, depending on the event requirements. Events that require more than one resource may also schedule an Independent [L4] STEAM member, only if a Certified tech (or higher) is also scheduled for that event (in the same Role). The [R10s] Scheduling Manager will be responsible for scheduling and assigning STEAM members for all events according to their qualifications and availability.

- [M2]: Shadowing & Hands-On with experienced STEAM Techs including Q&A and instruction.
- [M3]: STEAM Team curated independent Video Training from this STEAM Training Hub.
- [M4]: STEAM Team in-person Group Training on specific and foundational topics (monthly meetups).
- [M5]: Self-curated, self-paced, additional learning (books, classes, experimentation, etc.).
