Communication with STEAM has a very specific process. During a production service or event (including setup, rehearsal, and teardown), the fastest and most reliable way to contact STEAM is via the assigned Point of Contact (POC) either by voice call or by text. Please do not use Email or Microsoft Teams Messages (or Facebook, TicTok, Snapchat, etc.) if a communication is time-sensitive. Those platforms will NOT be monitored while STEAM is actively working on a service or event.
If the POC has not yet been communicated for the event, time-sensitive communications can be made directly with the [R10c] Communications Manager, or made with the mechanism created by the [R10c] Communications Manager for the specific purpose. Emails and Teams Messages are very effective when documented communication is necessary, but NOT when they are time-sensitive or after STEAM has begun working on an event or service. We need to ensure that all who need the communication will receive it, and that conflicting communications are resolved before distribution.
