Feedback

STEAM's improvement is assisted with productive feedback. For feedback to be productive, it should be prompt, specific, and objective. Ideally, STEAM recommends a consistent 5-minute debriefing with worship leaders and pastors immediately following an event or service - where we can discuss what was done well and what could use improvements. Any feedback should be specific and well-understood. Using vague terms like "good", "bad", "needs energy", or anything else that is not universally understood will have marginal utility at best. Try to learn the terminology so that the entire team understands the topics.

Understanding the church's and pastors' preferences is very important, but the real benefit of feedback will come from objective facts - not just opinions. Finally, we welcome any compliments or constructive criticism/complaints. All we ask is for kind honesty and transparency when relaying anything that we may need to improve on. Please ask clear questions, if comments are vague or unclear. Contact information is helpful for follow-up, when possible.

Any feedback outside of STEAM's Pastoral Debriefing should be given directly to the [R11] Tech Director or a [R10] Tech Manager to be relayed to the Tech Director. This way the Tech Director can decide the best way to implement the feedback according to our System to accomplish the team goals.
